It's sturdy and pretty ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Broken hand guard, like many others *by L***H on October 8, 2023* So it arrived with a broken hand guard, so that sucked, but for the money if you get lucky, it's not a bad piece. The wrap is loose, so you'll want to hot glue or use some other adhesive to lock all that down but otherwise I got a quality product ### ⭐⭐⭐ It’s wooden *by E***A on March 30, 2024* The description says the sword is plastic, but it’s made of wood. While this might be ok for some, it’s not a toy for children, which is what I thought. The handle fell apart in 2-3 days, too. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/453339913-japanese-samurai-swords-katana-training-sword-with-plastic-handguard-black](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/453339913-japanese-samurai-swords-katana-training-sword-with-plastic-handguard-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
