I find it’s better to spray it a couple times onto my hands and work it into the end rather than spray directly on my head because I have thin hair but I think if you have to care, you’d be fine to spray it straight on it also leaves a lovely fresh smell and is a sticky at all great at controlling frizz as well. Once dry my hair definitely looked and felt more nourished and felt lovely and soft to the touch. I've also noticed a nice shine to my hair as well. I have used cheaper ones such as Jon Frieda (used of a pink bottle). I only use this as a detangler on my daughter’s hair. It’s doesn’t do a lot but her hair isn’t frizzy anyway. On mine didn’t do anything but my hair is thick and frizzy curly type.
