I had been having battery issues ever since day one, so I thought I just wasn't charging long enough. I charged it for a good 16 hours and then brought it in the shower and it said it had low battery after just 7 minutes. It played for about 10 more minutes before completely shutting off. Funny thing is: after powering it back on again, it magically gains battery and will play for about another 15 minutes until it says it has low battery.
