**Q: I'm going to be connecting my sewer hose by pvc pipe,do i need this item?  where exactly does this go?**
A: This piece is not for pvc pipe. It works with another connector specifically for camper, motor home etc sewer systems

**Q: Is this a 4 terminal adapter?**
A: The Valterra T1029-2 is a 3" Bayonet x 3" Hub Adapter. The hub is a female, made to glue over 3" ABS pipe. The dimensions of the Hub are: ID 3.500" and the OD is 3.950".

**Q: Can you glue this to a standard 3" pvc/abs pipe, or is it a special fitting?**
A: Direct Connect.  3" ABS pipe.  Just Git er Done.

**Q: Reading through the other questions, is that Schedule 40 PVC or Thinwall?**
A: Either will fit, this piece is not schedule 40.
