Much better than their thinner U-shaped counterparts which seem to cause a crink in my neck because they aren't as thick and supportive. This one is great and you can rest your head at a much more natural angle.This pillow does not have a cover but is stuffed enough that it gives you the right support with still being very soft. The outer material is kind of like a velvety velour. A little more bulky to pack and take with you, but totally worth it in my opinion. Great for airplanes and car travel. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent!
