(size S) *by M***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 May 2019* On receiving this hat the small was just a tad too large for me (it is 56.5cm size SMALL, I am 54cm), but it is such a sturdy cap and such a good price that a little shortening of the elastic at the back with needle and thread is all that is needed. The photos are of the quality of the hat (my model was a much bigger head than me so ignore the fit here). In general, the hat does an adequate job of shielding the neck and sides of the neck from the sun, the front of the cap comes out a fair and generous distance to shadow the face from a large part of the sun also. The material is of good neutral colour with a soft but thick cotton with no skimping on the stitching which is good all over. There is elastic at the back of the hat for a comfortable and more exact fitting, although this is not adjustable, for the price you can't complain. Also it would have been good to have air holes in the hat, as it is so well made it could get quite warm in use at times. I wasn't sure about the colour, I wanted neutral and this is really neutral and looks the part, as in, not OTT but just practical sun-wear. I don't like having to wear such head/neck protection in warm/hot weather, but it is a case of having to for me.
