ParkTool is King!
High quality lockring tool with 12 mm guide pin for proper fit on thru axle hubs. Worked great for removal and installation of my Shimano cassette and will surly work with other brands as well. Pair it up with a 1” socket or wrench for great stability and ease of use. From my experience, ParkTool always provides exceptional value for the money!

Lock rings and cassettes - no problem.
With thru axels, the risk of a tool slipping inside the bore is high. With my old tool with no insert, I always feared it would slip and damage either the rotor or my hand slipping into the teeth of the cassette. No more worry with this version. Get it or the skinny one if you’re using 9mm axles still.
