A teaspoon per cup makes a decent broth, and this jar is going to last me forever at that rate. Mostly I throw it in when I'm making soup or cooking rice/grains. Makes a huge difference vs just using water. Also good for when you're deglazing a pan and don't want to open a whole carton of broth that you'll forget about in the fridge.
