I was very pleasantly surprised that I could still detect the scent a full ten days after first applying it to my dog. I suppose it might have lasted even longer, but I like the scent so much that I reapplied it at that point. The scent is very nice, not overpowering, but not too weak. It smells a bit like a men's cologne (I can't quite place the one it reminds me of, but I know it brings to mind one I've smelled before). That may sound a bit silly, but for me it was nice to find something that didn't leave my dog smelling like he got in a fight with a bottle of air freshener! It definitely does not have the strong chemical fruit or flower type scent that I have encountered all too often. Of course everyone has their own taste, but I have been very happy with this product and have had many compliments from others (or more accurately, my dog has had compliments).
