Review: Easy to install and shortened ride height - The yamalink installed quickly and lowered the suspension on my wr250r nicely. The grease fitting is a nice addition over stock linkage for ease of maintenance. Review: Seems to do the job! - Took me roughly an hour to change the link and lower with stock adjustments (I also cleaned and re greased all pivot points while I was down there. Also dropped the front forks around 16mm. I am 5’5” with roughly a 29” inseam, and this in combination with a shaved seat I can now get the balls of my feet on the floor. So far, it feels good. Different, but good. Feels like the bike wants to make sudden changes in direction faster, but I haven’t extensively tested and I think my front forks are out of alignment after a drop. I rode in a field near my house with big Ruts, bumps and did a few jumps a couple of feet high and couldn’t get it to bottom out. Going to continue testing but so far I really like it. At the time we did not have a white background pic of the Africa Twin that Amazon mandates. I believe the product listing says "representation of actual product" but if it does not we will note as such. **Q: 7 inch-8inch？thanks** A: Lowers the rear 7/8" of an inch. Just under 25mm. **Q: Will this work on a 1998 wr250z?** A: No. **Q: 2020 wr250r can't fit?** A: It fit my 2007 WR250R perfectly. Looks like the one I purchased fits 2005 - 2015. Not sure if it has changed.
