DC rated for solar. Fits a 4 gauge wire without any problems. When pulling 60 amps they do not get warm. There rated for 80 amps. I'm sure they will work for rated without any issues. I had other brand 60 amp units on And they got very hot. Never tripped but got hot. Almost 130 degrees, I have noticed that I'm getting more amps out of my 1000 watt panels. No loss going from point to point. Heat is loss of energy. I can bet we are getting 10 to 5 more amps because of the bigger contacts inside. No heat problems now. I always check tightness of all connections ever month so that wasn't an issue before.
