To maintain the accuracy, it's better to rinse the probe with distilled water after each use. For your mentioned distilled water, it should read 0 ppm theoretically, but in actual application, if you can't keep test condition very clean, it may read 0-2ppm usually. **Q: Can this also check for ph ?** A: It Does not. It measure TDS , EC and Temperature 3 in 1.
