I usually put it on when I know I won't have to wash my hands for a few hours and then again at bedtime so it can work through the night. It has to be used consistently otherwise it won't work. I have to also say that getting it directly from the carpet website is a much better deal when it's on sale and cost less. The product itself lasts about aonth and a half and I also use the foot one once everyday because I am going to physical therapy and the last thing my doc needs is to see wet feet! It is a life changing product, it really is.
