The covers ride round(move a lot) so you have to just re-tuck them if they do. The white ties (strips) could rip the material when some one sits down ...so I don't use them. I have several covers and change them with the seasons - they are a very cheap way of keeping a treasured suite that has seen better days. **Q: Is the cover soft? Rough?** A: Its textured, but soft. Very comfortable, looks nice and easy to wash & dry.
