My older dash mounts for GPS units broke from long usage, thought I would try this one. I like everything about it better than the old style, except that to keep unit from sliding around on the dash you have to attach a velcro pad to the dash, and use the matching pad on bottom of unit. Makes it impossible to remove the mount, GPS itself can be removed easily, but mount has to remain in place. Bottom of mount could be made of a more sticky material.
