These are well-made, real quality, and I am very happy with the purchase and the value. I had hoped that, being as heavy gauge as these are, there would be no real likelihood of kinking when the two dogs are out together (lighter-weight tie-outs have kinked miserably so tangling gets worse and worse over time). Alas, that's only partly true (some bending of the wire core remains after a fair amount of twisting together), but I blame the two dogs, not the tie-outs. I prefer this type of snap mechanism to the spring-loaded slide ones because there's no little knob to catch and inadvertently open. So long as the hidden spring mechanism stays intact, these should last a good l o n g time even with two energetic dogs who are nearly always out together. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job well *by N***5 on Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2017* We have only used this a few times, but our chew-master puppy hasnt been able to damage it and she hasn't gotten tangled, either.
