I wasn't able to get a proper horizontal level placing it on a table. I was considering getting the more expensive option when I came across this product. Holds the Horizon up and with the extra attachment, it is stable. The exception is if you bump into it then it can fall over. The lock in mechanism is good. The mount is of good quality. Only issue I have is that the mount does not have any measurement labels, so that in case you tilt and then want to level it out, the process is a bit tedious. Been using it for a few weeks now. Also comes with a nice pouch incase you want to take it along. The overall build quality is excellent.
