**Q: How do you prevent the non-enameled areas (like the edge of the lid) from rusting?**
A: The black areas are not raw.  They are coated with porcelain enamel as well.  Its matte black enamel.  If you have immediate rust forming there is a defect in your item.

A: When I asked the web site  - Gibson Home 109450.10 Eco-Friendly Hummington Aluminum Cookware Set Charcoal exteriors with Ceramic Non-Stick Interiors, White - was the only one it came up with afoa free - had jockey what pfoa meant - thanks!

**Q: Does anyone have problems with food sticking in the enameled cast iron?**
A: If something sticks just some hot water and dawn gets it off

**Q: Microwave safe?**
A: No. It’s made out of cast iron which is not used in any microwave.
