I was hesitant to make this purchase due to several negative reviews stating that the belt was to small. I had no issues at all with the installation and the Trimmer functions exactly as it did before with the OEM belt installed. I cannot comment on the durability of the belt because of limited use since the installation. I would estimate 5 hours of operation on the replacement belt so far. One thing I did not like about this purchase is that when I received the package there was an invoice in it from a third part to me which showed the price and shipping cost to be nearly half of what I paid to the seller on amazon. If I need this belt again I will certainly contact the third party listed on the invoice and buy direct from them. I am rating the belt with 5 stars but if I ever need a replacement I will buy from the company shown on the invoice in the delivery envelope. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems Strong - No Slipping *by D***L on Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2018* I really like this belt. My 6.75 horsepower Craftsman trimmer isn't designed very well. The belt has no adjustment and you have to take half the machine apart to change it. My last belt was a Sears replacement and it lasted less than a year. When I took it off it wasn't stretched like I thought, it was the same length as this FSP belt. However the wear happens on the sides of the v-belt, letting it sink farther into the pulleys. The new belt was thick enough to take up all the slack. I too saw that upon starting the engine, the trimmer head would not stop even with the handle released. Unlike the other angry reviewer, I was happy about this. I figured that the belt would wear a little slower since it started out a little tight. After one hour of use, with no belt slippage, the operation returned to normal and the trimmer head stopped when releasing the handle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Made my trimmer start trimming again *by S***M on Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2016* I bought this to replace the belt in my Craftsman wheeled weed trimmer. Installation was super easy, it fit perfectly, and now my trimmer actually trims. For the amount I use it, I probably won't have to replace it again for years. I read a one-star review that said, "maby a fluke but kevler works better". So just thought I would point out that this belt IS kevlar. I've bought other belts from this company in the past and they've all held up really well. I have a PIX belt in my mower that I installed in 2013 and it still works like new. Not sure why some people have had a bad experience, but I would suggest double-checking the installation to make sure it's on correctly, not binding anywhere, and everything is bolted down tightly.
