Registration and software download through the app were seamless—just create an account, enter the activation code, and you’re ready to go within minutes. The app is clean, intuitive, and handles updates automatically. One thing I really appreciate is the fast scanning speed. It connects quickly via Bluetooth and pulls codes and system data without lag, which makes diagnostics much more efficient. It also works well with Genesis vehicles, with stable connectivity and access to multiple modules. Most importantly, it supports electronic parking brake (EPB) service functions, which was a key reason I chose it. That makes brake jobs much easier without needing a more expensive scan tool. I recently purchased the Xtool Anyscan A30D OBD2 Scanner Diagnostic Tool. I installed the application on my phone. Connection is simplistic. Plug the scanner into the vehicle with the key on and not running. Scanner should light up with real time voltage indicated in the LED display. Using your phone's blue tooth setting attached to the scanner via the phone's blue tooth. Scanner will beep once connected. You can then run an automatic scan in the application. It will find the vehicles and its modules. Telling you if modules are ok or faulted. Interface is simplistic and easy to navigate. Information is really quite extensive for the price. I was even able to read some settings on my Volvo my friend's 900 dollar scanner was not able to. It has saved me much time and money in helping diagnose some of my vehicles. Resetting faults I would have previously not been able to. I was even able to diagnose an ABS issue with the front wheel speed sensor faulting on my Volvo. I replaced the sensor which even told me which wheel it was coming from. The live data I have found is very handy. I am very pleased with the item and would definitely purchase it again. One last item. There is no monthly subscription for application.
