We bought these and the defenders both in 22g. Feel is very different between the two, but both are well built. I think everyone in the family has seems to throw the hellfires better, for what it’s worth. We are all novice dart throwers and I think it’s mostly a matter of preference. One thing though, do yourself a favor and buy a flight punch and rings. The flights hold on MUCH better since we did that. Review: Good grip, great value - I was looking for an inexpensive yet quality dart to try out 24g’s. My current darts were 22g’s and I felt that I would be more comfortable with 24g’s. However, I didn’t want to pay a lot to figure that out. I am very pleased with these darts. I like the grip and the balance is good. These are just as good as another pair of darts that I paid 3x the amount for.
