These Girossi shears are even higher quality than I expected. An excellent carbon steel blade (stays sharper & holds a better edge than stainless) and cushioned handles to keep your hands from wearing out quickly. The locking mechanism is the most solid I’ve used; it’s easy to unlock, but doesn’t come undone when you DON’T want it to - almost all others are lacking in comparison. They appear to be built to last; solid workmanship built for long term use. I’ve used five different brands of pruning shears in the past year and these are the best combination of quality, function and price. And on top of it all, my order was filled FAST; I had it two days after I ordered it! I think I’ll find that the Girossi brand is worth seeking out!
