Victoria Hamilton is one of my favorite authors and I love both her Vintage Kitchen series as well as her Merry Muffin Series! I am happy to see the seamless transition from Berkley to Beyond the Page and to see that Victoria has outdone herself on the latest Vintage Kitchen book, Leave It to Cleaver, book 6 in the series.This book truly has it all, two bodies, two weddings, a jump to the past, adorable canine and feline companions, romance, suspense and bittersweet tears. I must say this book pulled at my heart strings and made my tear up quite a few times. The story is so well written and developed. I was sucked along right from the start and read it quicker than most books I pick up. I very much enjoyed the time jumps between the past and the present and the glimpses we got of various characters that were key pins of the story. Once again the characters are the star of this series, they are all so well developed and real. This is by far the best book in the series to-date, which is saying something because I have been hooked on this series from the start...how can you not love Jaymie, her vintage kitchen addiction and band of merry family and friends? I know I do! Becca knew the family who lived there long ago, she was friends with the girl who lived there the summer she turned 16 aka the year Jaiyme was born. The girl disappeared that fall. Now the whole family was gone and no relatives or records to find them. It being this series, that disappearance is revealed in short order to have been a murder when they find the girl's body in the basement. A few days later, another missing teen is found at the bottom of the river. Told by flashbacks to that summer and fall by the many characters who knew them as well as current memories of those times, we learn a lot about these relationships and being a teenager in a small town. Really interesting storyline and fun ending for long time readers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Who dunnit? *by H***O on Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2017* This was a much anticipated book and worth the wait. Jaymie has to solve a mystery from 1984 when two teenaged girls disappeared. The murderer was a complete surprise. What I loved about this book was how it went back in time. It was like looking back into my own high school days. I really enjoyed how Ms. Hamilton wove the past and the present.
