I wholeheartedly recommend it for carpets regardless of thickness and parquet. It never gets stuck and is very easy on the arms while pushing and pulling. ### ⭐ Poor fitting *by F***R on 10 January 2025* Poor fitting not fit for purpose doesn’t hold the pole to the head ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight & Flat - Works Well On All My Surfaces *by C***N on 12 May 2023* I bought this 35mm nozzle to replace the one that comes with the Amazon Basics cylinder hoover and it works great. The hoover has very strong suction but the RD285 nozzle can still run fairly smoothly over my medium pile carpet, unlike the default nozzle that just stuck to the floor and had to be dragged! As expected, the RD285 glides over non-carpeted floor and its flat design means that it can pick up debris from against walls and under the edge of appliances.
