Review: Good Value - Purchased two sets of the FAXS product as I needed some additional buoyancy for my camera rig after adding an additional strobe and wide angle lens. Already had Styx brand floats so thought I would get these to compare against. Overall they both do the same job of adding positive buoyancy and the FAXS does so at a better price point. The differences really is in the construction. The FAXS are a bit harder to get onto the arms and you are 100% certain they are not going to move because of how much force is needed to put the plug back in. The are also cylindrical with the plug centered. At first I didn't think this would matter but the offset center on the Styx square floats gives some additional movement when pulling the arms in tight. Are these differences a deal breaker?
