## Description

Product description Our Nitescuba buoyancy blocks compared to other EVA buoyancy blocks The deflection test of the NiteScuba FAXM buoyancy block on the left at 3 meters, 31 meters and 51 meters underwater The comparison on the right is the common buoyant cotton commonly used in mariculture. High Buoyancy: 1 piece FAXS provides -120g buoyancy, 1 piece FAXM provides -185g buoyancy; 4 pcs FAXS provide buoyancy for INON Z 330 (with battery), flash unit with battery + 1x 9" arm, 2 pcs FAXM provide buoyancy for 1x Nitescuba NSV60 dive light with battery + 1x 7" arm By add or minus the float block , you can easy to adjust your buoyancy with your own underwater photography equipments. Underwater tested show the NiteScuba FAX float can have a less than 2% of deformation at 51 meters.9inch arm you can insert 4pcs of FAX float.

Review: They work as advertised - Works well for what it is. I have a GoPro with a double tray, macro lenses and dual 4300nm strobes. This takes about 2/3 of the weight off the tray. I used two sets, one set (four floats) on each 9" arm. Going to need the large floate if you want it weightless. That's what I would do then add small weights to the tray to make it slightly negative.
Review: Good Value - Purchased two sets of the FAXS product as I needed some additional buoyancy for my camera rig after adding an additional strobe and wide angle lens. Already had Styx brand floats so thought I would get these to compare against. Overall they both do the same job of adding positive buoyancy and the FAXS does so at a better price point. The differences really is in the construction. The FAXS are a bit harder to get onto the arms and you are 100% certain they are not going to move because of how much force is needed to put the plug back in. The are also cylindrical with the plug centered. At first I didn't think this would matter but the offset center on the Styx square floats gives some additional movement when pulling the arms in tight. Are these differences a deal breaker? No. If you are cost-conscious or would rather spend your dollars on some other part of your gear these will do what you need.

## Features

- 1：High density and hardness float for underwater buoyancy adjustment, and less than 2% deformation at 51 meters underwater. And you can adjust your buoyancy more easily
- 2: high buoyancy :1pcs of FAXS provides -120g buoyancy, 1pcs of FAXM provides -185g buoyancy;4pcs of FAXS provides buoyancy for INON Z 330(with battery) strobe with battery+1x 9inch arm,2pcs of FAXM provides buoyancy for 1x nitescuba nsv60 dive light with battery +1 x 7 inch arm

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will these fit the MiniFocus Arms?**
A: Yes. I think it works for minifocus arms

**Q: Will this work with locline?**
A: Yes.It can be used with locline. But please notice that it's fine for a 1/2-inch locline, if for a 3/4-inch locline, you had to enlarge the holes a little.Like this video shows.

**Q: Is the buoyancy 185g for one piece of the 2.5" size (so a set = 4x185g buoyancy) , or for the total for the set of four combined is 185g?**
A: Just be forewarned, each piece does not provide 185g of buoyancy. I received mine today and, in fresh water, they are providing a total of 545g buoyancy, or 136.25g each. I removed about 1.5mm of material from each center plug to fit back in the hole when mounted on my light arms, but that certainly wouldn’t account for such a big difference.

**Q: How many floats can be put in a 5 inch ultralight arm?**
A: Yes. I think it can put 2pcs in a 5 inch arm .

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Provided flexible buoyancy that I needed

A little tough to put in but so much cheaper than the name brand ones and will definitely hold up and easy to stack and customize count for each lens combination.
