I've been using it regularly since I received it in March 2022 and I have just as many mice now as before I started using it! Just plain doesn't work and I wish I could get my money back! I swear by Tom Cat's mice glue boards, but not their spray or peppermint granuales. Don't waste your money! **Q: Any tips. i have a rat in my car dashboard. has chewed through ac tube. still can hear scratching. will this motivate him to leave and stay away?** A: Probably not, but you can entice it out with something tastier. You need a rat trap or two. Bait with peanut butter and put one on the car floor board and one under the car near the engine area. There are trap boxes, but those are not always successful. Get yourself a cheap long-handled grabber , leather work gloves and a sturdy bag for disposal. **Q: Will dogs avoid the sprayed area?** A: This was a concern for me, as well, as I have dogs....I don't know about all dogs...I can only answer for mine....I sprayed my baseboards throughout my home & my dogs haven't gone near them....I hope this is helpful. **Q: This keeps raccoons away?** A: It depends City raccoons seem to Ignore the smell!!! My eyes became very irritated and the smell was unbearable. I think that the product should be sprayed when no one is at home for about a week. I’m not sure that the friendly little mice is still in my home or has left. I haven’t seen any signs but they can be hiding out in a place where the mice spray can’t reach and when the stray scent dies down, here we go again. Mind you I have sticky tape and the old fashion traps laying in every corner of the apartment. They carefully removes the bait from the traps and waits for the next meal for them which is peanut butter and cheese! I’m so upset!!! Don’t tell me about the landlord/manager the exterminator is a waste! The stuff they use is so weak and on purpose! If they killed them they would be out of a job. I can’t afford to move.
