I will say, it’s pretty good quality, strong and I really like it, as a good thread for sewing heavier fabric, whether machine or hand sewing. **Q: Will this work good in the bobbin of a home macine?** A: Yes. This thread is very strong. It's a little bit tricky to knot because it's so strong and wants to pull straight, but it work for buttons if you run should double or triple knots and push the thread back through the loop cluster on the inside. Rarely have a head a button come off again after using this thread to re-attach them. Also, the pop-top thread holder is a brilliant way to keep the loose end for unwinding from the spool - that's a VERY nice feature.
