I think it was a bit minty, and a little off tasting. It wasn't horrible, but it isn't something I would get in my mouth on purpose. **Q: exp. date?** A: I checked my product and find no expiration date. But my experience has been this product last for a long time and I have never had any problems resulting from extended use of the stick.
