I am having an issue with the splitter in regards to the following. When the TV is turned on, an alert pops up saying the TV is not compatable with the splitter. TV picture dissappears for approximately 1 minute, then returns. However, it requires that a valid, active device be connected to output port 1 or it won't put anything out of port 2. I don't know if this is by design or a poor implementation of EDID, but it means that if my main device (my tv) isn't on then the second device (an hdmi-over-ethernet transmitter) won't get a signal.I have other cheaper splitters that don't have this problem.
