**Q: How long is the capillary tube?**
A: some are long  some are short  starting from 18" to 48"

**Q: on the lowest setting aka the warmest setting, what termperature does this control turn the air conditioner off?**
A: Mine doesn't work (shut off) either. Did we get a bad batch? I thought mine might have been damaged in shipment since it was loose in the box. My control knob seems to be binding against something at the lower 1/2 settings.JimK

**Q: Will it work on a rv ac**
A: Exactly where mine went 🤣🤷🏻‍♂️. Works fine

**Q: is this for cars?**
A: Not designed for automotive, but no reason it couldn’t be used for that. It’s made for home window-mounted air conditioners.
