I thought i would slit a cable in and it would shape itself around the length of the cable.No, you have to push your cable through the length of the tubing. Managed with an ipad cable but how am i supposed to do that with a 4 way mains cable? Am i meant to take all the plugs off and put them all back on again??Tried slicing along the length of the tubing and it literally crumbled in my hands. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent quality time will tell true quality. *by D***S on Reviewed in Canada on 27 December 2020* It's great stuff on the surface but i won't know really until it's been through some abrasion. This stuff needs some know how to use. If you're having trouble what i do is after i cut i fold some heat shrink and put it inside then i unfold it so that the sleeve is over the heat shrink insert wires and all that, then pull the heat shrink off and put it over it to clinch the end. You can also just use a bit of metal or something heat it up and burn the end together to prevent separating. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great but get larger version for power cords *by N***S on Reviewed in Canada on 27 December 2020* These are built well, however get the larger size if you wish to put it on cords that you need to fit over the wall plug end. These are slightly too small for the standard two pronged north American power plug.
