**Q: Does it need to be polished**
A: No

**Q: How can I get it to stop rattling and shaking with every footstep and vibration? It stands alone on my dresser but it rattles and shakes all the time.**
A: Bayous some felt. The kind that has felt on one side and glue on the other side put underneath the glass and it will not shake again

**Q: What is the height from the table to the edge of the top tray?**
A: it is about 8-in high

**Q: Is this sturdy enough to use as soap and lotion dispenser stand? Or will it tip forward when dispensers are pushed? Thanks.**
A: The stand is sturdy but Im not sure that the plate would  not move when you pushed down. I guess it would depend on the size of the bottle and how hard you pushed down. I simply remove my lotion and place it on the counter. Use it and place it back on the stand. I have hair products, deoderant, Parfums , toothpaste and things like that on mine. Hope this helps.

These trays are just gorgeous! I must admit, I not using them in the kitchen nor for serving. I am using it as a jewerly display in my bedroom. Right? I know, but it is so elegant. It looks AMAZING!
