"What is it? Our Stem Plug Elbow connectors are made of food grade material,It adopts Push to connect technology, which allows users to connect and disconnect quick and easy without the need of any other tools.It fits standard 1/4 inch OD plastic RO tubing, Copper, CPVC, PEX and PVC pipe or hose. It is used to branch off to different outlets for your RO unit. Where to use it? Applications include RODI system,Irrigation System, refrigerator ice maker tubing, coffee machine etc.This quick connect fitting is perfect for Tee in a water line going to your fridge or T off your water line under your sink for a filtration system as well as run two reverse osmosis faucets in back to back bathrooms from a single R/O unit. This will take the headache out of an under counter water filter installation How to use it? Just pop in your 1/4" tubing into each end, pushing until it won't go in. To remove, just push in the outer circle on each end and pull right out. You need to make sure the tubing is cut squared to insure no leaks. Be sure you cut the tubing even and straight, without crimping it. Then insert straight, and all the way into the connector. Review: good replacement part for GE GXRM10RBL reverse osmosis appliance - perfect replacement for the right angle connector of the membrane canister for the GE GXRM10RBL reverse osmosis appliance. The physical quality is fine - they look and feel just like the OEM part. I was curious about the quality of the o-ring, since that is the thing doing most of the work. I stacked all 10 connectors, plugging them into each other, in series. I pressurized the combined assembly, at room temperature, to 80 PSI overnight. No leaks. Then I took 2 of them to 150 PSI. It's been been five days; no leaks. I plugged and un-plugged them all, a dozen times to test the barb holding mechanism. I did the same to the two, before I took them to 150 PSI, a couple of hundred times. I think they'll be fine. With 7 spares, I probably will not buy this part again, in my lifetime. But, I'd seek out PureSec when I need another plastic "quick fit" part.

**Q: Maximum psi? bar? anything?**
A: we are running it on a 80psi system, no leaks or issues, not one defective in my lot :)

**Q: So th stem plug. i seen the other answer and i am confused lol. does the stem plug into a quick connect? like is it the size of the hose?**
A: The plug fits into a quick connect but for most purposes is meant for additions to ro system for example adding a permeate pump which I used in my filter system.

**Q: Can this be used on aquasona water system?**
A: if your system is using 1/4" od tubing or hose, it will be ok

**Q: Do they make these in like stainless steel, brass, or nickel (anything other then plastic)?im looking to use it for a pneumatic applcation unde my car**
A: yes, but in lesser variety as they come with more difficulties to make them properly seal
