If I’m wrong I’m wrong…I’m going to assume that this is a five star product because it’s here. When I found this there wasn’t anything else like it here. It seems like a really good idea and could work better than the spray powder stuff in some instances. I really hope I don’t have to use it actually. I do definitely feel better about having this available. If I can’t find the extinguisher or it runs out or something. Why are there a bunch of misspellings?** A: Hi there, PRC stands for People of the Republic of China. This product is manufactured in China. No where in the description does it say it's made in the US, however we are a US owned and operated company, so we can provide quick and efficient customer service. Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks, Cody **Q: Is this product fire rated?** A: I'm not sure if it's fire rated. We have one in each bedroom and one in the kitchen. We also have fire Extinguisher in the kitchen and garage. I rather have it and never use it vs need it and don't have it. **Q: will this work for chiminy fire** A: No, this is a blanket to smother fires on the stove or to wrap around someone with their clothes on fire. **Q: What size are each blanket in this 2 pack set?** A: I got the single pack and it’s a 3 x 5 ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No fires here - it seems like a great alternative *by S***Y on 2 September 2021* It’s hard to tell how many stars to give this product because I haven’t used it on a fire. Except for the outdoor grill, there are no fires that would easily lead to a direct event of flames being where they shouldn't. Still, that is why such events are called accidents (being unplanned and unscheduled -- I recall a discussion with a guy who burned his home down to the ground by upsetting the outdoor grill as a five-year-old, having the fiery brickettes land against the side of the house.) Hopefully never, but perhaps I will one day update this with a tale of how, having the foresight of purchasing this blanket, disaster was averted. ## Frequently Bought Together - Parcil Distribution PD-452 Emergency Fire Blanket Car Emergency Kit Fire Extinguisher for Home & Kitchen, Woven Fiberglass Household Essentials, Chemical Free, No Mess, Heat Resistant Blanket, Large - Kidde FA110 Multi Purpose Fire Extinguisher 1A10BC, 1 Pack, red - LifeSafe Technologies StaySafe All-in-1 Portable Fire Extinguisher, Compact Fire Spray Easy to use on 10 Types of Fires, Non-Toxic & Eco-Friendly --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/427097640-parcil-distribution-large-fire-extinguisher-blanket-chemical-free-no-mess](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/427097640-parcil-distribution-large-fire-extinguisher-blanket-chemical-free-no-mess) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
