Add An Amplifier To Your Stereo System! The NVX XPLOC4 Premium line-out converter is the perfect solution for adding an aftermarket amplifier to your stock or aftermarket stereo system. The XPLOC4 handles a large amount input power (600 watts total, 150 per channel) and uses the signal from your stock stereo or amplifier by tapping into the stock speaker wire and converting it to a 4-channel RCA signal output. This allows you to add an amp simply and effectively. It features a 6:1 Step down with an adjustable gain output, DC amplifier turn-on trigger and a 150 watt maximum input. The end result is a high quality line out converter with super low distortion, and as with all NVX products the engineering and build quality is second-to-none.

Review: First I ordered two 2-channel cheaper LOCs for a single digit price. But they weren't the solution. Instead I got more issues. Defect, no power, poor connectors and build quality. Now, with this unit here I have NOTHING to complain so far. It has power, is easily adjustable, the connectors are of good quality and overall the build quality seems to be fine, too. I didn't check the remote power circuit so far, because I use it at home for my receiver to have a wireless surround connection with some wireless audio transceivers. For that I do not need the remote circuit. Though, the LOC channels work just great! Buy!
Review: I purchased this to connect a powered subwoofer to my Sony stereo receiver. The new receiver didn't have a sub out connection but it did have A&B wired speaker connections. I connected the converter to the right and left B speaker connection on my receiver and then connected RCA Y splitter on the converter to run a single wire to the RCA connection on the back of the subwoofer. Abracadabra!!!! It works great!

**Q: The loc on the picture is not the same loc as in the description. on nvx.com the loc on the pictur only have 160w. but in the description it says 600w**
A: It has 150w per channel. It has 4 channels so it totals 600w.

**Q: Does this have a remote power output?**
A: It does not. I has a power trigger input (12 volts I believe) to turn in on from an external amp, but the only outputs it has are line outs.

**Q: Will this help with bass roll off?**
A: It does have bass roll off controls that are adjustable, but finding that sweet spot it difficult. Even buying a name brand like a LC2i its hard to find that spot since most factory amps roll off at 50% volume.

**Q: Where is this manufactured?**
A: 99% of the worlds electronics are built in Asia somewhere.

I did not get to hook up the item because I didn't like all the wires that were required to install it. I am sure it works fine but I was unable to test it out myself. It was a bit too much for me to have to rewire the system to get this product working.
