I made sure to measure it before I ordered it and its a perfect fit! Luckily most newer trucks including mine already had the inside rail already installed but the factory. Watching the video in the desertcart product info helped. It's 95% water tight with the exception of the front corner small gaps. Ended up not using the weather striping on the bed rail because it wouldn't rest on it flush but no matter, the rubber weather stripping already on the edges of the cover works well enough without the added stick on weather stripping. The top is nice a tight and very easy to lock down near the tailgate ensuring the safety of contents since my tailgate locks. The only way anyone is getting in is if they took a knife to the top. Even if that happened, I only spent $186 bucks for it. Very great quality. No tools necessary, the Allen wrench needed came with the rail clamps! I also like that if I don't need it it's easy to remove all together or just fold back and secure. Review: Easy to install on 2019 Tacoma TRD off road - Product is lightweight and seems fairly durable. The vinyl cover seems to be pretty good quality. I am impressed by the product considering it is on the cheaper side. I was able to install this very quickly, about 30 minutes and that included adjustments. My truck has the built in utility rails and I was able to use the rail bars included with the cover. If you are putting this on a Tacoma you don't really need the padding they include, other trucks may need it but it was useless on the Tacoma. The cover comes with rubber padding on the bottom so it wont scratch up your truck bed etc. The rail mounts included with the cover slide into the utility rails easily and they don't interfere with my tie down system. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cheap bed cover. Works as advertised and looks good. I have since used it to store important items that must stay dry. Every now and then, small amounts of water get in, but that could be installation error since I didn’t use the sticky foam pads it came with. It is very important to read the directions, as installation can be a pain. Materials and latches could be more sturdy but I haven’t had any issues yet. Latches could also be easier to operate.
