A: I believe it's set at a 20 degree angle

**Q: Can you turn it around and sharpen with the left hand?**
A: Absolutely! The honing edges touch both sides of the knife so the direction you pull from is irrelevant.

A: Not really I would find another way to sharpen these knives but you may get some tips from Work sharp web site

**Q: Will the pull through model work well with a pocket knife?  i want a sharpener that sharpens both scissors and my pocket knife (which i use often).**
A: It should.  However, for an EDC pocket knife, you might consider Work Sharp Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener, although that will not work for scissors.  Would recommend both if it fits your budget.

I have several Work Sharp products, all of which are excellent. This little item is probably the best version of this style of quickie sharpener I've ever had, but that being said, for quick touch-ups I prefer their small electric counter-top model. It's important to know that no sharpener of this ilk can make a dull knife sharp, it's only for keeping it sharp between legit sharpenings. If you cook a lot and enjoy using razor-sharp implements, it's worth reading up and learning how to do it right.
