It is good steel, made in the USA (according to the label). Came quickly and in excellent condition, and it works like a dream. Recommend if you need one.

I love this thing... since it's strong stainless and heavy i use it as a lowering/friction device in-lew of a portable wrap or other "overkill" option. I'm in Colorado all these trees are tiny..great device, quick to set up and teach to the ground guys...
