Review: Saved us from fleas!! - We had a horrific flea infestation for several months. I am apparently delicious, and several years later, the scars on my legs from flea bites still leave me looking like some sort of plague victim. We tried everything to get rid of them - various flea meds, food safe diatomaceous earth in the carpets, vacuuming so much that our vacuum almost caught fire - and it was only after we got the VETS+BEST waterless shampoo and furniture spray that the infestation really started to die. The smell can be pretty intense, but it at least smells *nice*, rather than super bitter or medicinal or something. We bought this most recent round of VETS+BEST products for a friend who was trapped by a flea infestation, and it was just as effective for them last month as it was for us a few years ago! Glad the fleas havent adapted to survive it yet - as they have many medications...
Review: Safe for pets and people - When we were fighting fleas - I used this on my own legs so I could ACTUALLY SLEEP WITHOUT GETTING BITTEN. It didn't have an odor that scared the cats. And my most finicky cat even let me use this on her. Note that essential oils aren't the best for cats - so use this in conjunction with other flea treatment plans. Capstar is a good internal medicine for cats. I didn't know that before... But I give this 5 stars because it worked EXTREMELY well for my finicky skiddish cat. It was more a peace of mind thing, however. So don't expect to buy this one product and be done with fleas forever. It is annoying to fleas, but does not have complete kill power.

**Q: Pretty sure you shouldn't be putting peppermint essential oils on cats...?**
A: you are not suppose and i don't care what any one says...i even email the company about it they claim it was safe....really then tell that two my cats that died on me my male 2017 and now his sister 2018 just about a year apart i used the stuff and they both died and it was horrible watching what they went thru...no don't use it

**Q: Can it really kill cats? I used it on my two cats one died 5 days later the other has a fever he won't eat and his eyes are swelled shut.**
A: Are used it on my cat well it was already the thing was broken when I got here there was a little bit left I just did a test strip oh my cat and well my cat licked off its hair after it was dry and I gave it like a little angel wings on the back he had a severe allergic reaction and had to get a steroid shot and an anabiotic shot

**Q: Can I use this in conjunction with Revolution?**
A: I have done so for my cats.  Vets Best is plant based, i.e., peppermint oil and clove oil topical to repel fleas and ticks whereas Revolution is systemic medication absorbed through the skin.   I would wait a week or so between the topical and the Revolution.

**Q: Can I use this with Advantage 2?**
A: Not sure about advantage 2 but I asked the vet about frontline and the answer was yes because it's natural you just want to wait 48 hours after putting on the frontline so you don't wash the meds off or use this first and then apply flea meds

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works, but difficult to wash scent off my hands.

Can't say how well it works since the cat I'm using it on is new to me and this is the first time applying it to her. Her previous owner said she used it on her and it works. My only issue with it is the scent. It does smell like mint and clove, obviously, since those are its ingredients. But it's pretty difficult to wash off my hands. I either have to wash SEVERAL times and/or use a scrub brush. But I do like that it's easy to apply to the cat, though I do have to sneak it on her a section of her body at a time, she won't sit still for a full application.
