## Description

This versatile powerful ring neodymium magnets is perfect for integrating into your projects or ideas. Under ideal conditions, it has a pull force of 38.5 lbs, and a gauss rating of 13,500 gauss. The magnetic strength will last forever under normal use. The dimensions of this magnet are 1-1/2" in diameter and 3/8" in thickness with a 1.065" hole going through the center of the magnet. Applications include: Magnetic holding, positioning, home improvement, kids’ science education and projects. And they are also great for DIY projects and many more. Please note: 1. All magnets are fragile and may chip or shatter, but if used properly under normal circumstances, they can serve you for a lifetime. 2. As with all magnets, keep away from pacemakers and sensitive electronics. Keep away from children under 5 years old. 3. The magnet pull force is tested in a standard settings, it has to be direct touch and direct pull from a 20 mm thick low carbon steel. This is industrial standard so magnets from different sources are comparable. Most home testing cannot meet this requirement and the testing result is less.

A: Good God, NO! One, it's too big and two, it's strong enough to at least cut you, if not break your finger.

**Q: How do you know which direction north is?**
A: hang it with a string. the side facing north direction is north pole. and side facing south direction is south pole.

**Q: what is the inside diameter?**
A: One and one sixteenth inches

**Q: Will this magnet detect magnetic rocks?**
A: magnets attract materials that are iron based, if there is a rock with a magnetic flux they will attract each other.  If you drag a magnet on soil you will find that it will attract the iron based materials (mostly in a powder form).  I'm not really sure what you are asking, I hope this information is helpful.
