I was floating down the American River the other day and I took it off my neck to pass it over to one of my friends and I for got to put it back on my neck. I went to get out of my raft to go to shore where the currant was a little rough and I jumped out of my raft and out my phone fell and I managed to get to shore and looked in my raft for my phone it was gone. I was pissed all my friends looking in the moving water for it can't see it. About 30 minutes later one of my friends see something in the water, and then my other friend goes down and looks and says maybe it could be my phone. Long story short it was my phone the silver was shining from the sun hitting it. We held hands like a line and could not reach it because the current was too strong. (Really) My friend sees this body builder Guy, screams to him to ask for his help he dives in gets my phone, dude it was crazy. I get my phone and after beginning under the water 45min to 1 hour with the water rushing by that damn thing was dry as a bone. Get one it will save your phone for sure!!!!! Sorry about the blah blah! The opening tabs are quite tough and a bit of a pain to use. One string/connection on the strap broke easily when being used, too. We have not dunked them in the water as we kayak on fairly calm water. They have been splashed and cell phones remained dry. We have older iphones, a 3S and 4S and there is plenty of room.
