Some (mostly citrus oils) are cold pressed. If it is done by CO2, I believe it is given in the product description. Solvent extraction is used for absolutes. **Q: Is this pure crystalized Thymol (solid) or dissolved in a carrier fluid?** A: It's pure thyme oil not crystallized or dissolved in any liquid. I also wrote a review for this brand of oregano oil because I used both in the treatment. I used two drops oregano oil, one drop thyme oil to about a tbl baby oil and rubbed it onto her cleaned skin before bed and in the morning the results were amazing and I'm continuing it for a week to be sure it's really gone. I didn't get results like this from the vet! On a different note, I bought the thyme oil for my toe nails that now thanks to a pedicure have a fungus and I've heard about thyme oil on People Pharmacy on NPR. What convinced me this would work is when I had my crawl space totally overhauled due to a mold problem after it was gutted they sprayed thyme oil on Everything to defungify the crawlspace before sealing it in plastic and installing a dehumidifier system.
