**Q: I have the Buchanan c24 tool.  With the 2007 caps, are these suitable for non-ground connections with solid wire?**
A: Yes...the Ideal 2006S Crimp Connecter can be used for non-ground (hot or neutral) solid wire connections when an Ideal 2007 Splice Cap Insulator is snapped-on securely over the crimp connector. This makes for a superior connection with better protection compared to using a wire nut, albeit more expensive.

**Q: Is this open on both ends?   I want to connect 4 wires into one wire on the other side.**
A: Yes, its a small hollow tube. I use it for the same connections you mentioned.

**Q: Are these made by Ideal as stated and are they copper as pictured?**
A: Yes, they are copper and I believe they were made by Ideal.

**Q: What is the diameter of the center? I am using for something other than wiring. I am looking to place 1/8 inch bungie cord through this.**
A: I can't really tell you what the diameter is but I can put four 14-2 ground wires in it. I would say you would have no problem with 1/8" cord
