It is much thinner and easy to use. There are 3 (I think) stones that heat up in a space about 3 inches wide and tall. I used in on the side of my neck where it hurts. My doctor says that the foam collars are not a good thing anymore. This collar allows you to move your neck and position it where you need the heat. You can still easily turn your head.Only problem is that there are no instructions and I wasn't sure how it worked. I e-mailed the company and I think I had a response in less than an hour. It's more like a neck wrap. :) I couldn't wear it but 5-10mins max, as the magnets started to burn. That was really unfortunate because that was the reason I bought this kit.I haven't used the sleeping mask, though I have tried it on. I really appreciate the nose 'cutout' as that makes the eyes completely dark, unlike some other sleep masks without it. I could see light at the nose, but I believe it will block out enough light that I'll sleep just fine when needed.I haven't used the ear plugs either.
