Review: Plastic disintegrated in hot water - DANGEROUS! I used the pasta utensil to stir pasta and the black “silicone” melted. The pasta and pasta water tasted strongly of plastic and had black bits floating around in it. You can see from the kitchen paper when I wiped the utensil the plastic came off.

I absolutely love these utensils! They are gorgeous in person, and the natural acacia wood handles give them a really nice, luxe look that makes my kitchen feel a little more put together. They also feel sturdy and durable, not flimsy or cheaply made. They are easy to clean and have held up really well so far. It's a really nice set, but be sure to wash them by hand; the wood handle loses its sheen after one visit to the dishwasher.
