I know you are supposed to change them on a regular basis, but I am a college student so I have to usually keep the strings on for a long time. I have gone before a whole year without having to change them (playing weekly). I would highly recommend these strings to anyone playing acoustic guitar. At the very least, give them a try and you never know if you found your favorite strings for life!

**Q: My guitar string for the note G just snapped and they're light bronze strings what do you suggest I buy to replace them? what do I buy for the others**
A: Several companies make excellent guitar strings. Ernie Ball is one of them. I recently purchased Ernie Ball strings and they are fantastic.

**Q: Will these work on a cheap 38 inch guitar?**
A: Yes, most strings are also able to be cut to fit......enjoy!!!!!

**Q: Which string goes where?**
A: They are a complete set and individual strings are labeled with their letter.  You will need to look at a guitar chart to match letters of strings with their place on guitar.

**Q: Why does the three pack cost more than three single packs?**
A: That's a good question. When my husband bought them last summer, that wasn't the case.

I'm a beginner with one year of playing. I've tried several different brands and types of strings mostly to understand the differences. I've learning in a Blues/Folk track and listen to Neil Young, Dylan etc. Honestly of have nothing bad to say about any of the strings I've tried. They've all been great to experiment with and it's so amazing to hear the sound change with each. The "Ernie Ball Earthwood Phosphor Bronze Medium Light Acoustic Guitar" are exceptional though. I can't nail down exactly what it is, but these strings sound amazing. I think it's a balance in the base and high tones/notes. The sound is clean but has something underneath that resonates. Another weird thing... I've tried tons of different picks. I always come back to a specific pick not because it feels much different but because I don't hear it clicking when strumming. I regularly use different picks to experiment with playability and the change they have on the sound but always return to my favorites. These strings are different in how they react to the pick... for me. There's no click from the pick that normally distracts me. Anyway - I like them a lot.
