Nice to not have to deal with carrying around both phones or of your cell phone is charging. The head set answers both phones also and frees up your hands. I have had VTech's before and they last and work a long time. You can also download your phone book from your cell phone to your VTech which will automatically transfer it to the other handset. Great value for what you get.
