I used the same case (without the kick stand) on my S7 edge - and it survived several drops - including on ceramic tile floors and concrete. The only reasons I'm giving this one 4 stars instead of 5 are: 1. The kickstand isn't that great...and seems to come out...more often than I'd like 2. This is probably more the fault of the screen protectors...but the case has to be partially to blame. I went thru 7 screen protectors before I got one to stay on with this case. It's true that the problem was "fixed" by the screen protector companies cutting them smaller - not denying that. But I think if the inside edge of this protector was a little rounded (not so sharp), that would have done the trick too. I dunno - overall, this is a great case for a very reasonable price - which is good, because they scratch up over time, so it's not the last one I'll buy.
