They spin smooth, they’re easy enough for a beginner to pick up but still fun once you start learning tricks. My nephew had it figured out within the first hour and hasn’t put them down since. Randomly came across some yoyos in the wild and just had to have the real deal. Those other cheap imitations just didnt do it for me. This two pack has the fireball and the auto return brain, which would be helpful for a newcomer. I havent yoyo'd in decades (late 30s) and this one hit the nostalgia button hard. Good quality, works well, and comes with some extra string. I remember paying way more for these back in the day. Great weight and quality to them.
