I have a custom application and need a wire connected to pins 2,3,7,8,12 and 20.** A: Yes these are wired with all 25 pins straight-thru and double shielded cable sheathing. **Q: We are cutting the end off of this cable and need a chart showing the colors and their corresponding pin number. Can you provide this information?** A: No one will provide you with that, when these are made they're not intended for use like that and manufacturers don't record that data, all the wires might even be the same color. However, you can use a voltmeter to determine which wire in the cut end goes to which pin on the connector. **Q: Will this work to connect an external hard drive to a computer? i have an old scsi external hard drive and a macintosh se.** A: I am not sure if this will work for you. SCSI devices usually have a different layout and use an SCSI cable. The only way this would work is if the drive has an actual DB25 port and not an SCSI port. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent and as described *by A***Z on 10 April 2022* Good ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked perfectly nice build *by L***L on 6 July 2025* Worked perfectly for my old cnc.
